Write your 250 word summary and collate your supporting evidence (maximum of 6 pages). Remember you can enter yourself or on behalf of someone you know.
Your entry is now with our judges, who will select the standout submissions progressing to the next stage as Judges’ Finalists.
From these finalists, the Top 35 Under 35 will be chosen and revealed live at the awards ceremony.
And from the Top 35, three exceptional individuals will be crowned
RISING STARS OF THE YEAR.

Applicants need to be 35 or under by September 16th 2026 to apply. Applications will be judged retrospectively on the previous year.
How it Works
The 35 Under 35 awards programme is free to enter and open to anyone working in the environmental sector who is aged 35 or under at the time of entry.
To enter, simply submit a 250-word entry outlining your achievements, along with any supporting material you'd like the judges to consider. You can nominate yourself or a colleague - the best nominations often come from peers who have seen someone's impact up close.
Entries are assessed, with the Judges' Finalists announced on 10 August 2026. Each of the Judges Finalists will be notified directly, before the highly anticipated Top 35 are revealed at the awards ceremony.
The awards ceremony takes place on Wednesday 16 September 2026 at ESS Expo, NEC Birmingham - free to attend, with registration now open.
